Joh found a couchsurfing hosts on Stromboli. We are staying 3 min walking distance from the pier.

Today, we are leaving for Stromboli by speed boat. Ozcar has to spend New Year’s alone at Adige garage. We had to leave the keys so he can be moved around – and he will stay unlocked during the time.

We were driving an off-road track in the snow when we passed by a figure of the saint madonna. To demonstrate my humbleness, I walked up to her bare-footed. The picture shows me on the way back.

Since Andalusia 2015, we have a rope over the top of the tent to protect it from being torn in heavy wind. This time, we had to add an extra protection on one side.

The evening already started stormy and the weather forecast predicted more to come: 6 Beaufort with 8-9 Beaufort in gusts. The night was very stormy!
