Rock the world
We figured it would not be land mines but danger from explosives. Who cares?!
We are fleeing the bad weather. The Co-Pilot recommends Pag island.
First day driving off-road.
A closed camp site – the perfect legal spot to spend the night. Even the shower and sink water was working.
Even though we are following a guide book with tracks, we constantly arrive at barred paths. No way around. See the daily track for today’s failures.
Driving in 4LO, 2nd gear.
We will find a better one, promised JT!
Some 12-13 degrees Celcius. No way having fun.
A day with mostly driving from colder areas to the coast of Croatia, the goal of the trip.
Czechia was cold and it was dark, so we decided to spend the first night at a hotel.
Avoiding traffic en route and taking an easy start, we drove small roads.
27 February till 4 March 2016 (1 weeks). Staying with Joh, Janina, Clara, Damiano, Tanja, Ralf and Andrea at Haus Büchi in Davos-Clavadel. Although the weather was not perfect, we enjoyed some splendid sunny days in powder off-slopes.
But cleaning horror in the way before getting on the slopes.
Riding freshly prepared slopes in the morning after nice snow fall during the night.
Janina and Ralf in more or less action
Tracks look similar for all the days – the area is not that big so riding the same slopes or the same off-slopes is common.
Snowboarding the entire day. The biggest part was “Müli” unprepared terrain from Jatzhütte down to Sertigtal Müli.
We were watching the rescue helicopter landing near Müli slope where we snowboarded.
We snowboarded at lot today in perfect powder. Untouched areas until late afternoon. But foggy and snowing slightly the entire day. Arriving home, the sun came out perfect.
